GTEA officials and members have long advocated before the board and to the administration about the importance of fair wages, benefits, and education conditions. This advocacy has resulted in the majority of Gateway educators feeling they are paid and treated fairly at the college.

GTEA officials have brought members before the board and administration to share their achievements at the college, in the community, and in their professions. Our educators go beyond the basic work requirements. They deserve recognitions, and the board and administration  need to know about their good work.
